How do I configure my email account in Microsoft Outlook (Windows/Mac)?

1. Open Outlook and add a new email account.
2. Enter your email address — Outlook should automatically detect the server settings via Autodiscover.
3. Enter your password to complete the setup.

How do I set up my email on a smartphone?

For iOS (iPhone/iPad): Use the built-in Mail app (avoid Outlook for iOS due to known compatibility issues).

For best compatibility, use the Mail app on iOS devices and the Gmail app on Android devices.

How can I reset my password?

If you are locked out of your account, please contact Batelco Support.
If you are able to log in:
1. Go to the Batelco Email web portal.
2. Click your User Avatar → select Profile → choose Update Password.

Will I lose my existing emails during migration?

No. All existing emails will continue to sync automatically from the old system during and after the migration process.

Is my email secure?

Troubleshooting

Why are my emails bouncing back with an error message?

Bounce-back errors generally indicate a problem on the recipient’s email server.
Review the details in the returned message or contact Batelco Support for assistance.

Why did an expected email land in my Spam or Junk folder?

Batelco Email applies multiple spam and trust verification checks.
Review the email header for diagnostic information.
Marking the sender as trusted will improve future email delivery.

Why are my sent emails being marked as spam?

Ensure your domain is properly configured and avoid:
- Spam-trigger words or phrases
- Excessive attachments
- Unverified external links
If the issue continues, forward the bounce report to Batelco Support for review.

I am not receiving a specific email. What should I do?

1. Ask the sender to verify their mail queue and outgoing server configuration.
2. If the message has not arrived after 24 hours, request a copy of the delivery report or rejection message and share it with Batelco Support for investigation.
